- I have tried and tried to get a Mac emulator working, but the problem I have is
- always the same - how to get the Mac software loaded on the Amiga?
-
- I have a Mac-2-Dos with a Mac 800K drive - doesn't work. The drive works fine
- on my parent's MAC.
-
- I then purchased an AMAX II. I can get it to boot up (on an amiga/Mac floppy
- hybrid), but it says the disk in the MAC floppy is unrecognized and do I want
- to format it. Any answer leads to a freeze up and subsequent reboot.
-
- I then purchased an AMAX IV. It doesn't use a MAC drive, it uses the internal
- Amiga drive. It uses a program to copy a MAC floppy into a file for use by the
- AMAX hardware, but alas - no MAC floppy is recognized and I get a "Not a HFS
- disk" or something to that effect. I am using an A2000/MegaMidgetRacer 25Mhz
- 2.5Mb/GVP SII SCSI w/8Mb 16-bit mem. The internal drive is DD NOT HD. I am by
- no means a newbie at computers, but this one has me stumped! Please help and
- respond via e-mail. TIA.
